Kathleen Hanson received a B.S. in K-12 Vocal Music Education from Moorhead State University and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Northern Colorado. Mrs. Hanson performed and toured extensively with the Ensemble Singers of VocalEssence from 1994 - 2003. Prior to teaching in Hastings, Mrs. Hanson was the director of choral activities at Chisago Lakes High School. During the summer months she often works with musical theatre productions.
Tatum Mahlen received her Bachelor of Music from the University of South Dakota. Prior to teaching at Hastings High School, she taught at Mitchell High School in Mitchell, SD where she taught choir and music theory, assisted with marching band, was the co-director of the spring musical and was also the director of the show choir "Friend de Coup". She was recently the ACDA R&S chair for show choir in South Dakota.
Lukas Warren is currently in his 11th year of teaching and 2nd year as the Head Choral Director at Hastings High School in Hastings, MN. At HHS he conducts Select Chorale, Men’s Chorus, and teaches voice lessons. He also is the director of the varsity show choir, “Riverside Company”. Luke received his B.M. in Vocal Music Education from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. During his time at St. Olaf, he studied with Dr. Anton Armstrong, was a three-year member of the St. Olaf Choir touring the United States and abroad. In his teaching career, Mr. Warren has taught at Sioux City North High School, Champlin Park High School, and St. Francis High School where he founded the “Bridge Street Singers". Lukas has been happily married for 5 years to his wonderful wife, Sarah, and they currently reside in Inver Grove Heights, MN.
